I love my home state of Maine, but I have to confess I occasionally fantasize about living somewhere where winter isn’t an endurance sport. The upside of the cold-weather months is that I have more time to dream up new plots.
When I’m not busy weaving suspense stories with a side order of happily‑ever, I’m baking sweet treats to enjoy with coffee, chasing the perfect nature photo, biking, hiking, or playing in the dirt in my perennial gardens.
